The Cambridge Yerevan Sister City Association agreed to help preserve and renovate the Shengavit Historical and Archaeological Culture Preserve in Yerevan, including an archaeological site dating to the 4th millennium BC.
Just 100 kilometers northeast of Yerevan is one of Armenia's most well-known cities. Spitak is the southern gateway to Lori, a sparsely populated but ruggedly beautiful region of Armenia.
